  1. Hi, I am trying to encode a 624x256 avi (divx) file into a nice widescreen DVD so I can watch it on my 16:9.

I want to keep the aspect ration, no streching, and have black bars on the top and bottom while maximizing the width. Preferably, I would like to keep the 5.1 ac3 audio too.

I have tried TMPGDVDAUTHOR - it only does 4:3
    I have tried DVD2DVI - it just doesn't work
I have tried DIKO - I can't seem to get it to work

Hopefully someone out there can help me out and maybe give me a nice guide too. I would love to use TMPG but the new verison 2.0 is in japanese and I can't figure it out.

    Thanks

  3. I was unable to confirm whether MAINCONCEPT encodes 5.1 ac3 audio.

    Thanks
