    I followed this guide: http://www.rita.lt/guides/GKnot_DVDtoAVI.htm

    After all the covrting encoding i get the movie playin too fast against the sound. It's like it's playing a preview video, but audiostays at the right level.

    may be when you rip the dvd to avi, at the same time u doing another thing.

    how long its take for you to rip it?

    Ripping the vob files itself to hdd, didn't take long. Afterwards, making the avi i dunno i went to bed but it took more then an hour.

    Didn't do anything at the time while making the avi file.
