    Hello forum members,

    This will be my first time posting in any multimedia-related forum for newbies,so bare with my situation;
    I am trying to load a subtitle file into Auto Gordian Knot app. with an AVI video segment, but keep getting
    a :unsupported audio type"error message after the AGK demuxing attempts to load it!!!

    In the AGK audio track window it shows that the AVI file has a 56 Kbps MPEG-1/2 L3 2ch audio track;would I need to install a codec specifically for that audio track for it to be recognized by AGK???

    Thanks in advance for any replies to this newbies topic!!

    No, but I'm pretty sure you'll have to demux the audio and convert it to whatever you plan on converting it to and then mux it with the AVI coming out of AutoGK.

    Feed AutoGK an audioless AVI and mux your audio into the reencoded AVI. Why? Because the audio is of such lousy low bitrate and/or sample rate quality that AutoGK doesn't support it.
