    Hi Guys,
    I just tried to convert a vob file into H.264 format, using Gordian Knot. But the conversion process dont start and i recieve the following Error in my Log :

    EXCEPTION: Range check error
    EXCEPTION: Encoder Thread Terminated.

    Can anybody please help me to solve this problem?

    The problem is that Gordian Knot is a bit decrepit these days.

    Latest version:
    0.35.0 pack2 (Sep 02, 2005)

    Thats a long time ago. Any version of h.264 that would work with it would likely be nearly as old.

    XVID4PSP is an amazing program.

    Another option is MeGui but I find it overly difficult to use as it has a very complicated Gui with so many selections it is easy to get confused.

    XVID4PSP is easier to use and yet from my experience just does as good a job as MeGui.
