  1. Hello,

I am trying to export / render a movie and I'd like to save it to the DivX format using MP3 as audio codec.

I have installed the DivX 6.x Pro Creation Bundle and LAME ACM MP3 Codec, but neither of these codecs show up as available options in Adobe Premiere as I am about to configure the video and audio output.

As others have reported difficulties with this, I would like to ask if anyone knows of an uncompressed format that I can use with Premiere so I can convert with VirtualDub afterwards- I can't use DV as I don't work in the DV resolution.

    Any ideas?

DV is compressed anyway. Uncompressed is uncompressed, your only real choice is the colourspace. Assuming that you meant lossless, DV isn't lossless either. Try Huffyuv, it compresses ok, is reasonably fast and from recollection works fine with Premiere.

You could try to use DebugMode Frameserver and frameserve from Premiere Pro to VDub. That would save you the trouble of having to export to a huge uncompressed avi. It would probably slow things down though.
