join mpegs avis

hello

I have a movie in 4 mpeg files (and other movies in avi's) and each file have a scene of the movie

is it possible to join them and make a single file playable in standalone dvd player? its importand the file to play flawlessly

Convert all clips to compliant dvd mpeg2 with an encoder like tmpgenc. Be sure to use same video settings for all.
Join the mpegs with videoredo or join the mpegs when you author to a dvd with for example tmpgenc dvd author(add all mpgs to same video track).

Use an all-in-one tool like divxtodvd,winavi,ulead dvd moviefactory and add all clips to same video track.
