I have about 20 video clips totalling 1hr 20min. I've decompressed the audio and video files and need to create a 700mb avi video from the project. I have done so successfully using the DivX codec. However i generally prefer the clarity of the Xvid codec.
However no matter how i alter the settings i can't seem to get to file to fill a 700mb CD. The inbuilt calculator always seems to come up with a 680mb file no matter how i alter the setting. I guess this is not really that important however i do feel that there is room to use a slightly higher bitrate and therefor a slighly better quality file.
Can anyone advise me on how to alter the setting to get the correct size. Thanks.
