I have some short movie files of different types and have put them all onto one disc in Nero which burnt them as Data Discs. I couldn't burn them as VCDs as not all of the movie files are the right file types.
On my PC they play fine in my DVD drive and CD Rom drive, but will that be the case on all PCs?? I want to copy and send these to some people, but am not sure if they will play OK.
Also, are divx files OK to be burned as VCDs??

Mostly NO for DVD players. Computers will play files based on which players, decoders and CODECs are installed.
Study your DVD player specs for exceptions

Yes if the person has a DVD-rom they will play as long as they have the right "Codec". I wouldnt worry about it.

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I'll just send them out then and tell them where to get the DivX codec.
