    Hello to everyone,

I was successful in converting from VHS to VCD (used TMPGenc and TV@nywhere card) before burning.

Now I'm tyring to convert to DVD using this setting:
    Format: NTSC
    Input format: YUY2
    Capture Size: 720 x 480
    Bit rate: 3950 kbps
    Frame rate: 29.97
Audio format: WaveformatEX: PCM 44100 hertz

When I import the file to TDA it gives me a message saying that the video header sequence is necessary for every GOP in a standard DVD and that the video header sequence is incorrect.

I attempted using the TMPGenc but it also says that it doesn't support the file.

Can anyone give me any advice on this matter, please...

    Thanks.

  2. One small problem is that the audio should be 48Khz.

Main problem is your mpeg file isn't DVD compliant.... You could try running it through VideoReDo or Womble they both have correction settings available, the QuickStreamFix in VRD. I know VideoReDo has a trial version, I hear Womble does too, I just never looked for it. You should be able to find links for both over in the Tools section at Left.

One or the other should be able to fix you faulty mpeg. Hopefully it is a mpeg2 as required by DVD spec for the resolution.

Good Luck, Let us here know how you make out

I tried Videoredo and just re-mux my original video to a revised version. It worked perfectly with TDA but there's a intermittent flickering every 3 seconds.
I explored the menu but I can't see an option to fix this problem.

    Care for more suggestions?

    Thanks
