I have been encoding XVCDs with TMPGEnc for some time now. On my previous Panasonic player, if I fast-forward I'd have to hit pause, then play, to get into normal play mode. With my Toshiba 3750, if I fast-forward it gets in this wierd mode where it plays about double-speed. I have to keep hitting buttons and eventually it will go to normal play.
The sample XVCD didn't have this problem. I encoded a short MPEG with the Panasonic Premiere plugin, and it didn't have this problem. I think the TMPGEnc stuff looked better, though.
Any ideas what in TMPGEnc could cause this?
