  1. I am using the Fhg IIS MPEG Layer-3 Audio Codec v3.3.2.44 (WMP10) for audio encoding with EAC.

The problem is that at 320kbps HQ the result is always Joint Stereo, witch is undesirable.

So far I was unable to find a way to setup the codec.

Do you have the same problem? Any ideas?

    Thanks a lot

There's a registry modification (that I can't recall offhand) to modify that. For 320k, the LAME mp3 encoder is considered better than Frauenhofer. FHG is great at low (<96k) bit rates.

For EAC I would recommend using cli LAME. Joint stereo is entirely lossless by the way so you don't really gain anything by using full stereo.

  4. Anyone knows where can we find this registry settings?

Would be a way to setup this codec similar to the Radium codec control panel?
