Fade in Fade out transition & DVDWS2 ?

using Ulead DVDWS2. placing a 12sec intro before main menu shows. intro is mpeg2 with video and audio, created with TmPGenc Plus. rather than have the intro just APPEAR like a splash page, i wish it to fade in - appear - fade out, then menu appears. do u guyz know what apps i need to make this sort of intro, or if DVDWS2 will do the fade video ? thanx

A video editing, ZS4, avisynth. They can all do simple fades. You need to put the fades into the video before you encode it for authoring.

If this clip is already MPEG (and it should be), then use Womble MPEG-VCR and add the fade. Really fast.
