A TS folder is created, but contents are either incomplete, or freeze upon playback. Am getting this virtually every time & have emailed CB about this several times...

I have just used the above on a avi and mpeg files with menus etc

everything works a ok


try uninstalling the program

and reinstallin still a great program

yah, CB thinks that my .net framwork is corrupt, so I uninstalled/reinstalled it & am gonna give it another go round & see what's what.
& OF COURSE it's a great proggy!!! :P :P

welp, still having issues even after a complete .net & S2D re-install. Also made sure my working folder had plenty of free space. Already sent logs & errors to CB.
Hopefully this prob can be solved. I want my working appie back!

I completely re-installed XP-SP2 from clean drive, and that build you sent me still throws out errors.
\the project was an NTSC (film) avi w/ AC3 to DVD

The program has worked fine for many other projects. This error has just recently cropped up.

This is very frustrating, as earlier builds never caused these errors, but Chrissy isn't able to recreate them. Sometimes the projects goes without a hitch, but most times there are errors. Sometimes they stop the app completely, sometimes they occur at the end after the DVDFolder is completed. I'd hopd that a full clean OS /.net re-install would solve it, but it appears to not have. I was able to re-install an older version from back in June which seemed to work fine, but then this effectively stops me from being able to enjoy using any future builds/features of S2D

I will be updating the GUI component shortly (it is a third party thing) and i hope this will minimise all your "graphics" errors. I will send you a new build in the morning to test.

RE your OS rebuild... was that a complete reformat from scratch?

Yes, complete new XPPro, SP2+ RyanVM latest Pack, Nlited, but with *very minimal* tweaks (only languages & vid card drivers removed -I always install mine seperately) I did this on purpose to leave XP as "vanilla" as possible to make sure I wasn't removing anything that might affect S2D.
Although I've been using Nlited XP installs for over a year now, and my last re-do was back in Feb. Up until recently, S2D ran fine on that earlier, more tweaked build of NLite/XP.
I eagerly await the next build to try!

I'm not being funny but what is NLite, RyanVM etc... Can you give me some URLs so i know what the score is here as from what i can see you are the only user with those "non vanilla" additions & also the only user with the continuing .net "graphics" issues.

It maybe that i can understand the issue better with more info...

Sure, Nlite is a tool you can use to 'customize" the install disc you create for XP or Win2k. It allows you to remove lots of the junk that MS sticks on it's stock install CD that you do not need or use when installing your OS on your PC.
For example the tons of video card drivers that Windows stick onto your PC during install that you never use. You can even remove Internet Exploder, Windows Media Player etc if you want to get to a bare bones install, although you risk having associated programs not being able to run if you aren't careful

RyanVM's post SP2 update pack is a a collection of all the MS patches MS released after SP2, which can all be slipstreamed into your XP disc via Nlite during install disc creation.
