I have a dvd and want to make it half the size i'm using dvd decrypter...is it possible?

Not really, but DVDShrink can do that. You can use the files you have ripped with Decrypter.

As a general rule, shrinking anything by 50% usually gives you something pretty rough looking. Try using Shrink to remove things you don't need, like unwanted trailers etc. If all you need is the movie, and menus aren't important, look at re-author mode. Often times a movie only will fit on a DVD5 with little or no shrinkage required.
