  1. Besides creating a custom JPG for the background with the desired text,
    is there anyway to add non-selectable text to a menu ?

    An empty title ?

    Some feature I have missed ?
    I've missed a bunch as I've been learning

    TIA P-PA

    Just add some text to the jpg in your favourite graphics program and then use the new jpg.
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

  5. Is there an ETA on adding a text feature to SVCD2DVD?
    I think I read somewhere that it will be featured.
    Animated menus would be cool, but I can live without that...

  6. Hi - As the original poster I said:

    The responses I got were appreciated, but not really on-target in that they told me different approaches to do what I had said I knew I could do.

    Anyway, I went ahead and tried my own suggestion above, creating a new VTS with no assets and adding menu text. It worked fine albeit the text turns out to be clickable - as I recall it just took me to the beginning of the movie.

    Cheers, P-PA
