  1. Hi, I didnt know where to post this but here is my problem:

I joined 2 mpeg movie together to build just one.

I watched the movie and everything was perfect. I then chose to do a dvd with it so I needed to demux my mpeg movie to do it.

When I demuxed my mpeg, only the first part of the movie was demuxing and no trace of the other one.

I mean only the first video I joined is demuxed and not the other.

Does anyone here know how I could demux joined mpeg movie or if there is a solution with my mpeg-2 movie to put it on a dvd without demuxing.

Thanks a lot for your help...It was lot of work and I want to know how I could finish it.

    Thanks again.

Yes, that's a problem one can do little about. Once I had demuxed a 51-minute episode of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and the resultant audio was always 36.4 minutes.

Your problem has a brighter side. You can demux the two parent videos and join the two audio files together, should you want a complete audio file for your joined video.

    Thanks.

I had the same problem when I was using TMPGEnc's MPEG Tools to do the (de)muxing. Once I switched to Womble MPG-VCR for my MPEG editing needs the problem miraculously went away

let me guess here: the timestamps of the former 2nd file restart from zero in the middle of the joined file. What needs to be done is correct the file's timestamps; I know womble does this but it's not free.
Sorry, I had to go see about a girl
