Keep everything, insert own menu

Hello I have a movie but without a pleasent menu so I ripped it down and tried many things...But if I am going to keep all the stuff (subtitles and movie) how can I manage to add a menu and what should I use?

Try looking under authoring tools, trialware: DVD-lab will do what you want, and works great or freeware: DVDAuthorgui, but its more a pain in the butt.

Well this kinda leads me to the next topic because whenever I make a movie in Dvdlab pro (registered) the subtitles are out of sync. This is only after the movie is complied or burned. The subs are all fine but after the complinging they slowly get out of sync and at the end of the movie they are about 10 secs in front
Any sugestions?
