Im kinda lost here. For whatever reason, the program isnt finding it as if it wasnt installed.Trying to understand what they mean on the site by:
IMPORTANT: This built-in plug-in can only be used with the product containing it.
*You won't be able to use it with another product such as PEGASYS Download products.

It makes possible: Dolby Digital (AC-3) 2ch audio encoding and decoding.
*If the source is Dolby Digital 5.1ch, you will be able to output it even after editing,
however you won't be able to re-encode it.
So what did I 'NEED' to download? The one I got seems to be the only one to get!
In my trial version, I see it say:
Cannot find the Dolby Digital encoder
Installing the TMPGEnc Sound plug-in AC-3 allows to encode and decode Dolby Digital audio
I see the product has like 3 names and not sure if I got the right one or what.
Can anyone tell me if I need another version or where I should have got the version with the DD encoder.
Can I get this plug-in someplace and install it to the programs folder?

You need the AC3 plugin, and it is not free nor available as a trial.
It does however work with both TMPGenc Express and TMPGenc DVD Author.

I have the plugin for the AC3 but with my system I only get sound out of 2 speakers. I use ffmpeggui for the AC3 and get sound out of 4 speakers. I wish I hadn't bought the plugin.

It's only a 2-channel plugin AFAIK. If your source is 5.1 it will retain 5.1, but if your source is something else then it will only output 2 ch.

Something's not right there then .... because ffmpeggui can only out 2 ch AFAIK ...

... although if you use ProLogic II on your receiver, I believe you can get a "quasi" 5.1 sound out of a 2 ch source.
    If in doubt, Google it.

So which TMPGEnc Dvd Author has this plug-in?
What they state is kinda contradicting no?
I only see 1 TMPGEnc Dvd Author to download??
Makes no sense to me or Im not reading it right.

    Yes.

By default, TMPGEnc DVD Author does not have the AC3 plugin. It's an optional extra that you must purchase in addition to TMPGEnc DVD Author.

You can purchase both as a bundle here:
    http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/shopping/tda_ac3.html
    If in doubt, Google it.

    Ahhh, thank you!
I did not see the bundled stuff.
Now time to see if I get busted using the $ CC
Tried the trail on a few things and this was the ease I was looking for in making DVD's !
