I've been using for quite some time the combination Womble MPEG Video Wizard DVD v5 for editing and TMPGenc Xpress for encoding. TMPGenc Xpress comes with a VFAPIFrameServer which supports the plugin WbpVFAPI.vfp that comes with Womble MPEG Video Wizard. Consequently, the Womble project files (.wbp) can be opened without any rendering in TMPGenc Xpress as video files.
I had some problems on my computer with the only user that had admin rights. I had to create another user with admin rights and delete the old one. Everything works fine now, except that TMPGenc Xpress does not display anymore the subpage "VFapi Plugin" under "File input plug-in" in Preferences. Because of this, TMPGenc Xpress stopped recognizing and opening the wbp files.
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit under a restricted rights user. This user has not been affected by the problems mentioned above, so it's older than the new admin user. I've always run TMPGenc Xpress as this restricted user. The registry entry pointing to the MpegVideoWizard VFapi plugin is intact under HKCU\Software\VFplugin (MpegVideoWizard="C:\Program Files (x86)\MPEG Video Wizard DVD 5.0\WbpVFAPI.vfp").
I've tried both the repair option and the remove and reinstall options for TMPGenc Xpress, but it didn't help. Running TMPGenc as the user with admin rights doesn't help either. PLEASE, I'll really appreciate any help to fix this problem.
