  1. I have Power DVD and it plays choppy.. What would the best software DVD player for a slower PC??

    I would try downloading and using either VLC or media player classic. I use these on an older 450 mhz PC with 512mb of ram. Works very nicely.

    You might want to try an older version of powerdvd or windvd cause when i had a 700mhz athlon windvd 3 played dvds fine.

    I have a 433mhz 4mb of video card.
    I use VLC, I must say it's the greatest. It just doesn't work very well in fullscreen tho (LOL).

    Be sure to put 16-bit colors if the video card is weak.
