    Hi!

I rented a DVD-film, and put in a DVD-player of a friend of mine. First, it tried to read it over and over, unsuccessfully. Then, we tested another DVD, to check if the problem was with the player. It played perfectly. So, we've watched this DVD.

Later on, we tried to test again that DVD which didn't work. For my suprise, it worked!!

Can anybody explain what happened? Was the DVD-player in bad moods in the first time, and then in good moods on the second time?
    Best regards,
    Joelson.

    Who knows ?

I guess it could be a failing lens on the DVD player. It's possible it wasn't strong enough to pick up the first DVD first time because of this, but the 2nd disc may have been easier to read, and then when putting in the original disc again, the laser was heated up, and read better .... I don't know.
    If in doubt, Google it.
