    Gents,
I have been using Decrypter for some time now to burn my ISO images. However, I have met a condition where I cannot burn the ISO image. I need to be able to burn the Video folders. Does anyone know if Decrypter will burn Video_TS folders? I have searched through all of the menus and come up blank. Thus, I suspect that it will only burn ISO images and I will have to rely on Nero.

    Thanks,
    Ed

Yeah, as far as I'm aware DVD Decrypter will only burn ISOs.

You say that you need to burn the video folders - do you actually need to burn the folders or do you just generate the folders using your current methodology? If this is the case you can use ImgTools Classic to create an ISO from your video files that will burn with DVD Decrypter.

EDIT: Also worth noting that ImgTools Classic (make sure you get the "classic" version) is free 8)

    Hi

Not 100% sure if it does burn VIDEO_TS folders straight off or not but there is a way around it. Merely, open the file in DVD Shrink ( you're not compressing so no quality loss and ultra quick) select back up and then create ISO and burn with DVD Decrypter.

When I want to burn video_ts folders to DVD using DVD Decrypter I open the folder with DVD Shrink and then tell it to Backup. In the 'Backup' menu there is a pulldown that gives you the option to Create an ISO and burn with Decrypter.

  5. DVDdecrypter will not burn VIDEO_TS folders.
For that use something like RECORDNOW 7.3 in data mode and just add your VIDEO_TS folder to the assets window and burn to disc.
    That should sort your problem.

    Gents,
Many thanks to all for confirming that DVD Decrypter will not burn Video_TS folders. That is what I thought, since I could not seem to find in anywhere within the program but I was not quite certain that I had overlooked it somewhere.
Now my only recourse is to unpack the ISO file into the folders and then use Nero for burning.

    Thanks for everyones help.

  7. Ed,

Just get yourself DVD Shrink and install it if you haven't already. Load it up, select Open Files and simply navigate to the VIDEO_TS folder that you have. Click Backup and it will save an ISO image for you that you can burn with DVD Decrypter. I'm assuming your files in your VIDEO_TS file are normal VOB files.

Why is everyone reccommending DVDShrink to output to ISO and burn with DVDDecrypter ???

That's what he normally does ... but has come across a situation where he can't do that for this ... so why tell him to try to create another ISO image and burn with DVDDecrypter (again) ???

    RTFQ, NOOBs !
    If in doubt, Google it.
