I have a ripped DVD file (VOB) that I created using DVD Decryptor. I selected the video stream, the japanese audio stream, and the English subtitles. What i want to know is how I can convert this VOB/IFO combination to an AVI file that contains the subtitles are PART of the file. I am going to be viewing this on a device that doesn't understand any form of subtitle files. I don't care what programs I need... in fact, I don't even mind if I have to buy anything (though nothing over $100). Just to reiterate, I just need to take my VOB/IFO and create it into an AVI or MPEG or some form of video (I don't care) that has the subtitles as part of the video itself. I think I read somewhere that this is called Hard subtitles? Whatever it is, I need to do it in the best way possible. Any help or advice would be infinitely appreciated... Thanks in advance,
