what prog do i need for vcd TO dvd?

i need a program to convert from vcd to dvd..... not something that converts it from dvd to vcd.......... does anyone here know of a program that can do this?

Hi,

Tmpgenc Dvd Author will keep the video at vcd level and only convert the audio to dvd specs (48khz).

Many other dvd authoring programs let you keep the vcd level while converting the audio.

EDIT - oh sorry misread - you want to go from mpeg1 to mpeg2 right??? Well tmpgenc plus can do that for you. As well as many other programs found in the tool section on the left of the screen

yoda313,i believe you got it right with the first advice,if you need to get the video off the vcd disc then use vcdeasy or vcdgear to extract to mpg,then do as yoda313 suggested with tda.

No reason at all ever to re-encode mpg1 to mpg2 if its dvd compliant to begin with.
