  1. Hi.
    I have a problem.
I bought a Lite-On SOHW-1693S DVD Burner and installed it in my computer.
I was trying to burn a movie with DVD Shrink, but everything when the encoding part finishes, my computer reboots.
Could any tell me what is wrong or how I can fix this?
    Thank You.

  2. Sounds like a software problem. Just to check the obvious, did you remember to tell Shrink to not reboot after it's done? Encode to an ISO image and then burn it later with DVD Decrypter or some other program.

  3. Nevermind, fixed it.
    The software wasn't the problem.
    It was the hardware.
It was my Ram. I bought 2gb of RAM.
My motherboard wouldn't take the RAM with the DVD Burner with it.
If I install a CD burner with 2gb, it works fine.
    It kept rebooting the computer.
So then I reinstalled my old DVD burner and that too did not work with 2gb of RAM.
So I took one stick out, and it worked fine.
The ram are going to be returned.
    Thanks for your help.
