    Anyone had any experience with the LG - LRA 516 standalone DVD recorder? It seems this unit has many nice features and records to DVD+R dual layer media.

    what? no reviews at all? those DL discs are expensive, but if this unit handles DL well and works like my pioneer, i'd buy one. Hate messing with MN all the time.

    Just be sure it really does do DL. This guy reports its close cousin, the LG LRA-536, doesn't, it turns out.

    I'm actually interested in its bigger brother, the LG LRH-539, which looks about the same, but with a 250GB hard drive.

    Anybody have any experience with that model?
