I have tried to convert DV captured AVI file with CCE but the results were some green color on the screen...is there any settings to avoid this green color?

I am not a DV expert but since you have had no reply for some time, I will give it a go.
DV files are of two types, Type 1 and 2. I think CCE will only accept one of the two types. There are tools that supposedly can convert DV from one type to another.
I know this is a long shot, but if you have not solved the issue, perhaps it's worth checking this too.The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know. -
I routinely convert DV type 2 to compliant mpeg2 using CCE Basic. I have not observed any color issues. I pretty much use the default settings for DVD except that I set quantization to 24 instead of 16.
There is a free software app on the Canopus website that will convert DV
Type 1 to Type 2 if that is what you find is the problem.bits
