Ok, so here's my scenario. I have a movie that I'm trying to play in my standalone player (Phillips DVP642). It's encoded with QPEL, something the player doesn't support, and I have to reencode it, so I run it through the latest version of AutoGK. So far so good. When I play it in MPC, however, I notice that it gradually loses sync until it's about 30-40 seconds off at the very end of the film. I figured I must need to resample it (don't worry, I read the guide ;p), and so I do and I get out a nice mp3 file which, unfortunately, is STILL out of sync. Now I'm confused, so I think "maybe it's because I encoded to a VBR MP3 both times." Using MPC's dubbing feature I open the reencoded video with the original AC3 track and it's STILL out of sync.

Finally I try to open the original video file with the out of sync MP3 file, and it plays in sync fine with the original video. So I thought it might have been something with the framerates that got messed up, however they're both the same frame rate (23.976fps) and the video files are the exact same length, as are the audio files.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on and how I could fix it? Any help would be appreciated.
