    Hello,

I've attached a clip. You'll see that the audio is in sync for the first half, then out of sync for the second half so I can't correct it with any single offset delay. It was ripped with DVD Decrypter from a DVD+R, and if I play the VOBs in VLC media player, it just stops playing audio and video at that point. Maybe a bad VOB file? Is there a way to repair VOB files if that is the case?

I'm basically following this tutorial to convert from DVD to AVI: http://www.geocities.com/goodsharer/

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    David

I would first try convert with AUtoGK. If still same problem I would try open the VOB in Videoredo and run the quickstream fix and then convert it to avi.

Not that it should matter in this case, but DVD Decrypter is no longer updated. You should switch to a current tool such as DVDFab Decrypter.

It would probably be best to start over from the beginning. Verify the file(s) play correctly on the original disc, and then verify the file(s) during each step of the conversion until you find the problem.
