first and only time i've ever come across this problem-

i have neon genesis evengelion (8 disc set) i want to back it up to only 4 discs. so i usually use tmpgenc dvd author to do this.

when i click the "Add DVD video" and search for the folder, it finds the movie, but only shows/allows me to pick titles 2,3,4 - none of which are the movie. (in other words- it doesn't see the movie title)

-reauthoring just the movie in dvdshrink or dvd2one doesn't help - movie not seen at all by dvd author.

--i've tried creating new ifo files using ifoedit - same result.

i have never come across this problem, can anyone help?
