    I want to setup my dvd writer and dvd/cd rom on the same ribbon. Which should be master/slave.

    I have two hard drives already setup as master/slave. Cannot use that ribbon.

    I posted this in another thread, but that was the wrong thread.

    Best to have this setup in my opinion:

    Primary Master: Hard drive 1 (with OS installed)
    Primary Slave: DVD Rom

    Secondary Master: Hard drive 2
    Secondary Slave: DVD Writer
