  1. My DVD consists of about 12 scenes that I want to be able to play in two distinct ways:

    1) Play all of the movies sequentially from the 1st to the last.
I have a "play all movies" text button linked to the first movie, but when movie finishes it doesn't proceed to the next one; it returns to the menu.

    2) I have individual scene menus. After a selected scene is played I want to be returned to the sub menu from which it was triggered. Right now, it takes me to the root menu.

I have made DVDs (using DVD Lab Pro) and it seemed like what I wanted was the default behavior from menu buttons. But somehow now, my menus have gotten messed up!

I've tried looking through the connections help, but find it a bit tough
going. I'm hoping someone can explain a fairly straight forward way to get what I want.

    Thanks

    Start simply.

    1. To get all your movies to play in order create a playlist that contains all the movie in order. Link your play all to the playlist. You can link the individual movie links to each movie.

A note : you don't have 12 scenes, you have 12 titles. This is why you get the behaviour you do. If you want scenes, you need to join it all together before you come in the DLP.

    2. On the Connections window, select the movie asset. At the bottom of the window, click on the drop down next to End Link and select the menu you want it to return to.

  3. You can also use the "return to last menu" button.

  4. I see. Shortly after posting I figured out how to make a 'title' return to the menu it was called from, but I I didn't know about playlists.

    I'll experiment with your suggestions.

    Thanks for answering.
