I have a old installation of Windows XP that is in its last steps and must be replaced. I made a copy of this old Windows XP installation (Upgraded the machine at the same time) to a Parallels Desktop virtual machine some time ago. I did a fresh installation of Windows XP under Parallels Desktop and have copied all the project files.
It works great to work in one of my projects but when I generate the DVD the links in menus become blue and in some parts I can see the the real color (red) but that real color parts seems to be some shadow effect in the now blue links because I can read some letters. I have looked and Project Properties are identical between the XP installations. "NTFS Safe Color" are disabled.
The links in the menus are all text.
I have found that when I change the Palette color, default is blue, under Project Properties it changes the links colors but the shadow effect I wrote about above is still there but now in a other color, black. I have black as "Activated" color on links in menus. I have no idea why DVD Lab Pro under a fresh installation of Windows XP for now reads the Palette Color as link color instead of the chosen color under Map, Selected. In Preview the colors of the links are ok.
I have never had this problem with the old XP installation. I have also tested to copy the installed DVD Lab Pro from the old XP installation to the new but with the same blue links.
I am scratching my head real hard and have no ideas left.

Why do not you try this forum
http://www.mmbforums.com/
It is a new forum for DVD Lab. You may have a better chance to get some answers there. -
you could try updating to the last version, 2.51 i believe.

I didn't know that forum existed. Some time ago they didnt have a forum online. If someone here got an anwser to my problem you can still comment here.
I'm not using 2.x series of the program because it changes the subtitles time when it's imported to the program. Subtitle lines that do not collide in the original srt file collide when they are imported in DVD Lab Pro 2.0 or later.
