Simple question. I'm used to using Photoshop PSD files in ReelDVD, but want to try out DVD Lab Pro's additional features. Can you create menus using Photoshop? If not, how are they created? Any help is appreciated.

Create a new image using a PS template at your video resolution
Create a new layer for each button
Rasterise any styles before saving the finished menu
The last step should be to resize to 720 x 540 - I suggest you keep the original for editing if necessary
Save the PSD
Import this into DVD Lab Pro as a menu, and you will have all your buttons ready to goRead my blog here.

How do you do this? I have been importing PSDs into DVD Lab Pro and I find that if I have text with a layer style in Photoshop (7) the text is fine when I import it, but the style is gone e.g. if I have a drop shadow it doesn't show up. Even if I right click on the layer in Photoshop and select Rasterize layer, the style still doesn't show up in DVD Lab Pro.
I am sorry to bump the thread, but it isn't that old, and I am dealing with the same issue.
