I have movies that have a framerate of 23.976 and I use TMPGenc to convert movies. When I use the unlock template in tmpg and load movies into the program, it always used to display at the bottom the encoding method that would be used to encode the movie with the same settings. If the movie was 23.976 fps, it would show 23.976 fps. Now for some reason when I load a movie that's 23.976 fps, it shows 30 fps at the bottom. When I actually encode the file at 23.976, it gets really choppy quite often. When I encode it at 30 fps, it seems slightly choppy all the time, but better than when it goes choppy at 23.976. We recently upgraded to windows xp if that may have any bearing on why it might be doing this, that seems to be when I started having the problem. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it? Please help if you can.
