  1. Hi,

    Thanks

  2. If you're just worried about it fitting onto a CD, Nero will burn it ok. It overburns and you can fit more than 700MB. Yesterday I actually fit a 760MB file onto an 80-minute CD!

It is not over burn. a 700M cd can always hold more than 700M data for VCD and SVCD, since no data correction is introduced.

  4. As tendtend said, x(S)VCDs are burnt in mode2. Than means a 74min CDR holds 740MB and an 80min CDR will hold 800MB. You do need to leave 2-6MB (VCD cs SVCD) for the misc files and scandat stuff. But I normally make xSVCD from MPEGs that are 794MB.

  5. if your mpeg file too big to fit into a cdr, you can try to overburn. u can usually get additional 5 megs or so. overburn its best to burn at a low speed.

  6. ya....use nero's VCD/SVCD template to burn in mode 2x/a

this allows u to fit 750 MB on 74 min CD-R and 800 MB on 80 min CD-R

  7. I worked this out once. There is some overhead you have to take into account.

Without overburning, no menus and only having one track, you can burn about 740 MB onto a 74min disc and about 796 MB onto an 80 min disc.
