What program can compress videos to 700mb?

I'm new to this. i had a movie who's original size was 700mb. i edited it. then i only compress it down to ~2G with Window Movie Maker

It depends on what your goals are. If you're trying to make a DVD you'll likely find the results are very poor at 700MB.

All converters. Are you editing with windows movie maker? You can make a custom profile, http://www.jakeludington.com/project_studio/20050909_windows_movie_maker_custom_export_formats.html , with a lower bitrate and use a bitrate calculator to calculate it like videocalc.

What is the video (divx, xvid, mpeg2, h264, vc1, mjpeg...) and audio (mp2, aac, ac3...) codec you're working with now? Use mediainfo or gpot if you don't know. What container (.avi, .mpg, .mp4, mov...)?

What do you have and where do you want to go?
