    Original File:
    IMAGE SIZE: 576 x 304;
    AUDIO: duration 01:34:08; Bitrate 127 kbps; Audio format, Lame MP3;
    VIDEO: Frame rate 23 fps; Data Rate 126 kbps; Video sample size 12bit; Video Compression XVID.

    I used virtualdub to save audio stream from a file. Audio was 1hr 34min 08secs.
    I opened Vegas 6 to render as 5.1 dolby digital. The output file is now 1hr 34min 11secs!!!!!! (i dragged audio right upto timeline).

    Thought it was a mishap on my part so tried to compile DVD in both DVD Architect 3.0 and DVD-Lab Pro 1.0 and got sync issues on both attempts-a massive 3/4 ses out. i suppose i can try and compile and adjust the timelines accordingly but i'm just frustrated why its happening.

    I've looked at alot of help guides on forums but none mention the fact that audio has increased in playback.

    Can someone please help??

    You could try shrinking/compressing the audio back to the correct size. Goldwave for example will let you stretch or compress.

    "Frame rate 23 fps" could be part of problem. That's not a standard framerate.
