This is my second WinTv card now and again with the PVR 150 i can't even install it, i fitted the card into my pc, power on the computer and in the instructions the add new hardware wizard is supposed to come up which it doesn't, i have tried installing the drivers and the software and it still doesn't pick up the card, i have a fairly new computer running on xp compatability shouldn't be an issue. can someone try and help or know what i am doing wrong
any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried forcing Windows to search with Control Panel -> Add Hardware?
Since this is your second card, is there any possibility the drivers have already been installed from the first one? -
Is ACPI enabled in BIOS? (it should be)
Is the "PnP OS Installed" option enabled in BIOS? (it should NOT be).
In device mangler, Right click computer, select properties. Does it say ACPI or something else?
Have you manually assigned any IRQ's in BIOS?
Does your motherboard share IRQ's between slots (look in the manual).
You may have to rearrange your PCI cards to different slots.Cheers, Jim
