  1. i'm a little new to this. Well, i was checking out what format my movie was in.
    File : 694 MB (694 MB), duration: 1:31:34, type: AVI, 1 audio stream(s), quality: 54 %
    Video : 611 MB, 933 Kbps, 25.0 fps, 640*360 (16:9), DIV3 = DivX v3 MPEG-4 (Low-Motion), Supported
    Audio : 83 MB, 127 Kbps, 44100 Hz, 2 channels, 0x55 = Lame MP3, Supported

Say's the video is a Divx + MPEG i thought those were two different format's? It also says it's an AVI? So, if i want to convert it back to a DVD format so i can play it on a DVD player. Would i do AVI to DVD? or DIVX to DVD?

  2. .avi is a file extension, nothing more. DivX is an MPEG file (MPEG-4) in an .avi container. Just search for .avi to DVD in the tools section.
This plan is so bad, it must be one of ours.
