I have some amt of 700mb .avi files .. (mostly shows, and dramas)
i've used nero vision3 for easy making DVDs .. but recently.. i've gotten into some files where i get errors right after nero initiates burning..
error report is filled with weird characters.. (2 page long)
i thought it was nero issue, so i went ahead and tried some other programs shown here
https://www.videohelp.com/tools?listuser=&orderby=Rating&s=35#35
well.. all of it shows errors...
so i was wondering if there can be an .avi file that i can't author to DVD to .. because the .avi file runs fine on computer..
lmk.. help a newbie out.. thanks

If you can watch the avi fine, then you should also be able to convert it. Doesn't mean that it is 100% error free though.
