  1. Hi

For the motion menu in ulead dvd moviefactory 4.0, if u select a background track to play and also select motion menu time, lets say of 5 sec (30 sec is the max), after the 5 sec of motion preview, the background track restarts from the beginnin

the only way i figured out how to play the whole track if to disable motion menu

i was wondering if anyone knows if there's a way to play the whole track without disabling the motion menu?

  4. There is a way, there are a few ways actually.
are you motion menus the thumbnails of the Video scenes? or is the Motion Menu just a 'Video"?

  5. lets say i have 6 different video files on one page, 6 different boxes on the screen, the motion menu plays the beginning 5 seconds of every video on that page and then plays it over, the background track restarts every 5 seconds

  6. Ok set everything up the way you want "Minus" the background Music,When you see Rendering "Motion menu" Go in the folder where the File are being stored, and copy the "Motion Menu" Video and Paste it into another folder,Then open this Video file in any NLE and Loop it and add your Sound file, then use this 'Video" for your Motion background.

  7. Or set the Loop in Ulead to 30 sec.you said this is the "MAX" and copy that "Motion Video" into a new folder, and then set your Background Music to the max "30 Secs' with this new video File.

  8. i like have no idea what you're talking about, especially with abbreviations, plus i dont want just 30 sec of music, i want the whole track playin but in each of the 6 video boxes i want a maximum of 30 seconds of motion

  9. Ok..you said the Max you can use is 30 seconds. So how and why would you think you could use more?
    what dont you understand?

If you want more then 30 second Motion menus, you will need to use somthing else,Like Ulead DVD work shop.

The best way to make motion menu is in a NLE, this way you can make it as long as you want and to show whatever you want.

  10. The video length in a motion menu determines the audio length. You cannot have video looping every 5 seconds, and audio looping every 3 minutes.
    Period.
If you want to play full audio, then have your video the same length, wether a full clip, or looping a 5 second clip repeatedly.
If you want the same 5 second video to loop the length of the audio, then you must manually MAKE the looped video by joining it to itself, until it's the length you want.
