  1. hi

At work we use Snagit to record outside specialists that come to teach us.
and record video but not audio.

When we watch the videos later there are long segments without movements of the mouse or keyboard .

    The Snagit produce Avi files.

Is it possible to automatically remove these segments ?

    thanks in advance

It may be possible to use avisynth to compare a frame to the one before it, and if it is the same, remove it. I don't get that dirty in the avs coding to be certain of exactly how, but someone more experienced can fonfirm if it's possible.
