I have just purchased a GDVD301R and tried to convert Full Monty to DVD, it just keeps saying error as the video is Copyright protected. Is there any way of getting round this?

I have seen The Full Monty on DVD at Wal Mart for $6.99. Why not just buy it?

I believe that your system is PAL.A post from England indicated that on PAL using the SCART connection would eliminate Macrovision. I really don’t know

Whatever system is used, Macrovision is a real problem in transferring VHS to DVD. I have tried many methods to overcome Macrovision. Guitarman pointed me to the ILO recorder. This unit can be hacked where others can’t. With the latest firmware and hack it will eliminate Macrovision Period. I also think the ILO is a very good recorder/player. I don’t know the availability in Europe. It’s a Wal Mart item made by LiteOn.
    They are on ebay.

    [Guitarman] site www.ss3f.com/ilo

You may want to contact him on the forums for his opinion.

  6. My post dosen't answer your question on th GDVD301R. If it can be returned, I do believe the ILO is the fastest an easiest way to go. You should look to the LiteOn. It is also very easy to hack and will do what you want. [Guitarman] site includes the LiteOn.
