Virtual VCR and Output Size

Maybe I'm dense and missing something, but due to audio sync problems with Winfast Deluxe XP, I'm checking out Virtual VCR and its dynamic resampling. In setting it up, though, I'm having a problem.

I'm shooting to have the final product be a DVD, so I'm trying to set the Output Size for the Video Capture Pin be 720 X 480. However, when I go to apply that size, I get an "Error Connecting" with "The format is not currently available."

Any help figuring out what I'm missing would be GREATLY appreciated.

I'm having the same problem, so I hope that in the 11 months since this was first posted, someone has figured it out. Capture at 640x480 works fine with Virtual Dub on my WinFast TV2000XP Deluxe using the BT848 drivers and Windows 2000. I was hoping to use Virtual VCR. It will record with the default settings of 320x240 @30 fps, but it gives "The format is not currently available" error message no matter what when trying to Apply or Save any settings under Video Capture Pin. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program and the drivers with the same results. Any ideas about what the problem is here?

Try check the "Use Smart Tee Filter for Preview" in the view tab of the settings.

Thanks for the link. I hadn't noticed it there at Doom9 before. I'll read the setup guide and try the Smart Tee Filter and see if that helps.
