do dvd players have problems playing 16x dvd's??

thinkin of buy a stack of 16x dvd+r dvd's but i am worried about playback on dvd players will it play the same or will it be jerky??

and whats a good speed for burning 16x media for playback in dvd players is 8x good enough without issues??

If you are going to burn at 8x why not just buy 8x media?

If your equipment is operating correctly, the speeds don't matter like you were thinking..
If you really are afraid, wait the extra time, it won't make the burns worse, if that's what you were thinking
