    Hi,

I apologize for the double post. I think I had the other one in the wrong topic and I am not sure how to fix it.

I got this ati recording thing. I just love it the picture and audio part is very good. Anyway I recorded my frist movie with the studio 9 software which is what it came with. I went to edit it with the studio software and when cutting out the commercials, some of the scenes still had commercials in them. Then I subdivided the scene to the least amount it would allow and even with that some of the commercial is still there.

How would I be able to cut all of the commercials with studio software because what I tried did not work or is there other software that works for doing that instead? Please and thank you.

  3. With Studio 9 you can try this:

    1. Be sure that you capture with the scene splitter function on. or get the program to do the secene detection and splitting upon reload.

    2. Drag the whole captured movie from the album down on to the timeline.

    3. Cut out the comercials by right clicking and selecting delete. If you look for black frames you can usually find the beginning and end of comercials.

    4. Export the project to an avi or whatever you want. The comercials will still be in the original capture file, but the exported project should be cleaned up.

Please excuse me if this is not what you wanted to do.
