hi,
the Nero high comp. mode works fine when burning to a DVD-R, but it won't burn 1 gig when using a DVD+R.
Is that the way it's supposed to be ? do i have to add a dummy file to reach the 1 gig to make it compatible with my xbox ?
thanks.

The check box you are referring to, is used to set the recognition code of a +R disc to make it appear as a DVD ROM. It doesn't affect -R discs. It is used to make +R discs more compatible with DVD players.

thanks Kritter for your reply.
according to this thread, high comp mode is here, to burn at least 1 gig. and i've tested it with DVD-R, and that's actually what it does, i burn a 300 meg iso, and it makes 1 gig so it's compatible with xbox. now i would like to burn DVD+R as bitsetted DVD-ROMs, but the high compatibility mode doesn't fill upto 1 gig. and i kinda dislike doing it with a dummy file...
anybody else expirience similar issues ?[/url] -
