  1. ok everything was fine till about a month ago. then all of a sudden my games lag online. i did a line quality test over at dsl reports and get 100% loss on i think 6. here's the line for that:

    so is this a line prob or computer prob? and how would i go about fixing it?

    100% loss on that test (a trace route) means that the destination is blocking icmp packets/pings used for trace routing. It appears YOU are the destination, so you must have some sort of firewall installed or your ISP is blocking pings/icmp packets - no worries, best case actually; safest condition. As for overall response time, 58ms isnt too shabby

    Have you considered the fact the servers you play on are just laggy w/many users?

    Otherwise, the first thing I would do is ping my gateway. If that response time sucks, then you can complain to your ISP about your connection. Anything beyond that, unless you're paying $10,000/month for your connection, your ISP probably won't/can't do anything about it. Chock it up to general 'net traffic.
