    I've got a split .avi that I want to join. It has AC3 that I want to keep. I've tried joining them with Virualdub, but I get a cracking sound and lost of audio when the second .avi starts. I'm guessing it's because of the AC3 or something with the audio sampling. Can someone help?

    Join with virtualdub mod. Extract the resulting audio stream, correct the join erros with Ac3fix.exe and remultiplex with the video
